Simple, tailored shades that roll neatly away. Choose a fabric that softens daylight, offers more privacy or helps you manage glare while keeping the look of your room calm and uncluttered.
A simple fabric shade with a clean, flat finish. Choose subtle textures, bold patterns or natural-look fabrics, with light control ranging from softly filtered daylight to room-darkening coverage. Roller shades lower from a roll at the top of your window to the height you choose. Their uncluttered surface suits modern interiors, with fabric and colour choices that also work in more decorative rooms. Pair a roller with a separate solar or blackout fabric in a double roller system for independent day and evening settings. Care depends on the selected fabric.
Enjoy natural daylight and your view with less glare. Solar shades use a partially transparent screen fabric to moderate sunlight while keeping the window feeling open. Solar shades are a type of roller shade designed for sun control. Their screen fabrics can reduce glare and UV exposure while retaining some outward visibility. Compare a tighter weave for more screening with a more open weave for a clearer view. Performance depends on the selected fabric, colour and openness; nighttime privacy usually needs an additional opaque treatment.
Roller shades use one continuous panel of fabric, with a selection of colours and textures to suit your interior. Solar fabrics have a more open weave for filtering strong daylight. We help you compare samples in your space, choose the mounting position and plan a tidy finish.

MAKE IT YOURS
The options to consider.
01
Light-filtering or blackout fabric
Choose softer daylight or a more opaque fabric. Blackout fabric still needs careful planning around the sides of the window; it does not automatically make a room completely dark.
02
Solar fabric & openness
Compare available openness levels, including 3% and 5%, alongside your view, glare and privacy priorities. A more open fabric is not a substitute for a privacy shade after dark.
03
Cassettes, fascia & controls
A cassette covers the rolled fabric; a fascia conceals the front of the mechanism. Compare fabric-wrapped or finished headrails, mounting depth and cordless or compatible motorized operation with our team.
Should I choose fabric roller blinds or solar screen shades?+
Fabric roller blinds offer decorative textures and light-filtering or blackout choices. Solar screen shades focus on glare control and a filtered daytime view. A separate privacy layer may be needed after dark. Visit our showroom to compare both types against the light.
Will solar shades give me privacy at night?+
Do not rely on an open-weave solar fabric for nighttime privacy when your room is lit. We can discuss a more private fabric or a layered treatment.
Can a roller shade cover a very wide window?+
We need to check the window dimensions, fabric and operating system first. Large openings may need more than one shade rather than a single oversized unit.
Can I have a screen fabric and a blackout fabric at the same window?+
Yes, a double roller configuration uses two independently operated fabrics. It needs its own mounting and depth assessment. Explore our double roller shades for the differences from zebra shades.
