Single cell: 3/4-inch & 1.25-inch
Choose 3/4-inch (¾-inch) or 1.25-inch (1¼-inch) single-cell fabrics. The cell size changes the scale of the pleats; compare samples against your window proportions and preferred texture.
Let’s talk about your space Soft light. Insulating comfort.
Cellular shades, also called honeycomb shades, use hollow fabric cells that trap air at the window. Their softly pleated design combines light control with insulating comfort. Choose single-cell fabrics in 3/4-inch (¾-inch) or 1.25-inch (1¼-inch) sizes, or double-cell construction for added insulation.

Product inspiration · From our original websiteThe honeycomb structure creates insulating air pockets that help slow heat transfer through the window in hot and cold weather. Cellular designs typically offer the highest R-values among interior window coverings; the actual rating depends on the selected product, fabric, cell construction, fit and window. They can also absorb some sound and help make a room feel quieter. We compare samples and operating systems around your light, privacy and comfort priorities.
Bedrooms, living rooms, home offices and other spaces where you want softly filtered light, flexible privacy and improved comfort at the window.

Cellular shades and honeycomb blinds refer to the same folded fabric construction, with pockets that trap air. Compare single-cell and double-cell options, light-filtering or room-darkening fabrics, and compatible cordless or motorized controls. The fabric and installation determine the comfort and light-control result.
Our range includes 3/4-inch and 1.25-inch single-cell fabrics, plus double-cell options for added insulation. We compare current fabric samples and confirm the available cell, size and operating combinations for your window.
It combines two fabric sections in one shade: sheer or light-filtering for daytime, and blackout / room-darkening for evenings or greater coverage. You adjust which section covers the glass. Its movement and remaining coverage depend on the selected system.
Fabric opacity and insulation are different properties. A blackout section offers greater light blocking, while thermal performance depends on the fabric, cell design, coverage and fit. We review the actual specification when insulation is a priority.
Cellular honeycomb shades typically have the highest R-values within the interior window-covering category. That is a category-level benefit, not one guaranteed rating for every fabric or installation. Ask us about performance information for your selected product.
They can contribute sound absorption and a quieter feel, but they do not make a room soundproof. The effect depends on the chosen fabric, shade coverage, window and the surrounding room.
There are cellular systems designed for skylights. The opening, slope, supporting tracks and operating method must be checked; a standard vertical-window shade is not interchangeable with a skylight system.
