Bring softness, texture and a more finished feel to your room. Explore custom drapery, sheers and ripplefold treatments with fabrics, lining and hardware chosen for your space.
ShadeZone helps you bring the details together: fabric, lining, measurements and installation. Bring a room photo, a colour sample or an idea to our Coquitlam showroom, and we’ll help you work through the choices.
Start with the light you want to keep. Sheers soften daylight; a separate drapery layer gives you another setting for privacy. We help coordinate the two fabrics and their tracks so each layer can work independently.
A flowing wave pattern gives ripplefold its clean, contemporary appearance. Fabric choice, fullness and track layout influence the finished folds. We review the space the drapery will occupy both open and closed.
Choose the lining around your room’s needs. A blackout lining can block light through the fabric, while overlap, mounting height and the edges affect light entering around it. We explain the expected result before ordering.

Tracks & decorative rods
Compare a discreet track with a more visible decorative rod. We assess the fixing surface, curtain weight and clearance from window handles or nearby furniture.
Height, length & stack
Plan where the treatment starts, how it meets the floor and where the panels collect when open. Door access and the view are part of the measurement.
Operation & future plans
Tell us how often the drapery will be opened and whether you are considering motorized operation. We will check suitable hardware, power and control options for the proposed treatment.
Tell us the room, project city and look you have in mind. Photos and approximate dimensions help us understand the starting point.

Do sheer curtains provide privacy at night?+
Sheers filter daylight, but they should not be relied on for nighttime privacy when the room is lit. A separate lined or more opaque drapery layer may be a better fit for that need.
Can drapery be combined with blinds or shades?+
Yes. We can help coordinate drapery with your shade selection. We check the depth, mounting and operating clearance so the layers work together.
Will blackout drapery make the room completely dark?+
Blackout fabric or lining blocks light through the material. Light can still enter at the top, sides, centre and floor. We assess the layout and explain any practical limits; complete room blackout is not guaranteed.
Can I see fabrics before deciding?+
Yes. Visit our Coquitlam showroom to compare the available samples. Ask about a weekday in-home consultation if you would like to discuss the room in person; Saturday visits are available at the showroom.
What should I send for an initial enquiry?+
Include your city, rooms, approximate width and height, photos and whether you prefer sheers, drapery or both. We will help identify what needs a professional measurement before ordering.
