A double roller system gives each fabric its own role. One can filter the daylight while the other provides a more opaque layer. We check the opening, mounting depth, fabric choices and controls before recommending a configuration. Blackout fabric does not remove light gaps around the edges.

Are double roller blinds different from zebra blinds?+
Double roller blinds use two separate fabric rollers, often a solar screen and a blackout shade, that you operate independently. Zebra blinds use alternating sheer and solid bands. We help compare day-and-night privacy, mounting depth and the number of motors needed for your windows.
Is a double roller the same as a zebra or dual shade?+
No. Zebra shades adjust alternating bands in a layered fabric. Double rollers use two separate fabric shades that can be raised or lowered independently.
Will a double roller make my bedroom completely dark?+
Not automatically. Light can still enter around the sides, top and bottom. We review mounting and any suitable light-gap solutions before setting expectations.
Can both shades share a single motor?+
A motorized double-shade arrangement needs separate motors for independent operation. Hardwired installations need the appropriate power feeds planned for both.

Zebra & dual shades
Alternating sheer and solid fabric bands create a distinctive layered look. Adjust their alignment to change the balance of daylight and privacy, then raise the shade when you want a clearer view.
Cellular / Honeycomb Shades
Cellular shades, also called honeycomb shades, use hollow fabric cells that trap air at the window. Their softly pleated design combines light control with insulating comfort. Choose single-cell fabrics in 3/4-inch (¾-inch) or 1.25-inch (1¼-inch) sizes, or double-cell construction for added insulation.
