Often called dual shades, zebra shades give a window the softness of fabric with a crisp horizontal pattern. We help you choose the band scale, colour and opacity, then review how the fabric looks across neighbouring windows.

No. The word “dual” describes the alternating sheer and opaque bands of a zebra shade. A double roller system uses two separate, independently operated fabrics, such as a screen and a blackout roller.
They can suit some bedrooms, but fabric opacity and light gaps matter. Tell us how dark you need the room so we can compare zebra shades with blackout and layered options.
