Are roller blinds and roller shades the same?+
Roller blinds and roller shades describe the same basic treatment: one fabric panel that rolls at the top of the window. Compare light-filtering roller blinds for softer daylight with blackout roller shades for stronger light blocking. Fabric, mounting and side gaps all affect the result.
Can I combine a roller shade with a solar shade?+
Yes. A double roller arrangement uses two separate fabrics that operate independently. We check mounting depth, fabric order and controls before recommending the configuration.
Will a blackout roller make my room completely dark?+
Blackout fabric blocks light through the fabric, but gaps around the installation still matter. We discuss mounting and suitable light-gap solutions for your room.
