Selected blinds, shades and shutters can suit triangular, angled, arched and other specialty-shaped windows. The shape and glazing affect the options. We explain which sections can operate, which may remain fixed and what coverage to expect after assessing the window.
Can you cover any unusual window shape?+
Availability depends on the shape, dimensions and selected system. Send photos and approximate measurements so we can assess suitable options and explain their limits.
Will the whole treatment open?+
Not always. An arched or angled section may use a fixed treatment while another part opens, tilts or lifts. We confirm the proposed layout and clearance before you order.
Can specialty windows be motorized?+
Some compatible shade systems can be motorized, but the window shape may limit movement and product choice. We assess the opening and controls before recommending a configuration.

High windows, skylights and unusual openings need a more considered fit. We assess the shape, position and access before recommending an appropriate shade and operating system.
Cellular / Honeycomb Shades
Cellular shades, also called honeycomb shades, use hollow fabric cells that trap air at the window. Their softly pleated design combines light control with insulating comfort. Choose single-cell fabrics in 3/4-inch (¾-inch) or 1.25-inch (1¼-inch) sizes, or double-cell construction for added insulation.
Wood & faux-wood blinds
Horizontal slats give you a familiar, practical way to adjust light and privacy. Compare the character of real wood with the finishes and everyday practicality of faux wood.
