Make your glass work better for your space. ShadeZone provides window film selection and installation for homes and businesses, with options for solar control, decorative privacy and glass safety.
Enjoy daylight with less solar heat and distracting glare. Solar control films can help protect furnishings from UV-related fading while preserving outward views, depending on the finish. Consider them for sunny living rooms, condos and home offices.
02
Commercial solar film
Make offices, storefronts and shared spaces more comfortable. Solar films help manage heat gain and screen glare, reduce UV exposure and can give a building’s glass a more consistent appearance. We review your exposure and priorities before recommending a finish.
03
Decorative & privacy film
Bring privacy and visual detail to existing glass with frosted, textured or patterned finishes. Ideal for bathroom windows, entry doors, meeting rooms and office partitions. Selected areas can be screened while other areas stay clear; removable films also suit changing commercial interiors.
04
Safety & security film
A bonded film can help retain fragments when glass breaks, reducing the hazard from scattered glass. Options are available for residential and commercial applications. Film type, glass, frame and attachment method determine performance; film does not make a window unbreakable.
PRIVACY WITHOUT REPLACING THE GLASS
A softer view. A considered finish.
Privacy where you need it
Frosted film obscures detail through the glass while allowing light into the room. Partial coverage can balance privacy with a clear view above.
Define spaces with glass
Use decorative finishes on glazed doors and partitions to create separation while keeping interiors feeling open. Compare coverage, pattern and transparency for your layout.

PLANNED AROUND YOUR GLASS
The right film. The right fit.
Start with the problem you want to solve: afternoon heat, glare at a desk, privacy or a decorative finish. We review the glazing and compare suitable options, then confirm measurements and installation details.
Solar control can reduce cooling demand, but energy savings and performance vary with the film, glass and building. Ask us about the specifications and warranty for your selected product.
Pair film with solar shades or drapery for additional light and privacy control.
GOOD TO KNOW
Your questions. A little clarity.
Will window film make my room dark?+
Not necessarily. Films vary in visible light transmission, colour and reflectivity. We can compare a clearer appearance with stronger solar control, based on your windows and the effect you prefer.
Does reflective film provide privacy at night?+
Daytime privacy depends on the light difference across the glass. When the room is brighter than outdoors, reflective film should not be relied on for privacy. Consider frosted film or a blind or drapery layer where evening privacy matters.
Can film stop my furniture from fading?+
Suitable films reduce UV exposure and can help slow fading. Visible light, heat and material age also contribute, so no film can eliminate fading completely.
Can film be installed on my existing windows?+
Many existing windows can be treated. We first check the glass type, coatings, condition and exposure, including any building or strata requirements, to confirm a compatible film and installation approach.
Can you help with both a home and a business?+
Yes. ShadeZone provides window film service for residential and commercial spaces across Coquitlam, Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Send photos, approximate sizes, your city and the result you want to achieve.
