Remembrance Day
This Friday, November 11th, is Remembrance Day. Marking the 104th anniversary of the armistice that ended the First World War, the day is meant to honour all those who have served for Canada, whether in times of war or peace. It is a time to reflect on the toll of war and to honour the sacrifice that so many have made to protect Canada, its allies, and its values around the world. While ShadeZone will remain open on Friday, we encourage customers to wear a poppy and to observe the moment of silence beginning at 11:00am and ending at 11:02am.
